On 22-March-2003, The Leo Club of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Permas Jaya paid a study visit to JB-Lions MAA-Medicare Charity Dialysis Centre located at Jalan Harimau Tarum in Century Gardens. The entourage of about 20 Leos was led by their faculty advisor, Cik Ng Bee Hwong.

   On arrival at the centre at about 1.00 pm., Lion Dr Ben C. Ng was already there waiting to lead the tour. He explained to the Leos about kidney failures and diseases that required haemodialysis and then later took them on an on-site study of how a haemodialysis machine functions.

   Other members of our clubs who went to support were Leo Advisor Lion Tan Poi Chuang, President Lion Michael Tan, Lion Edward Lee, Lion Liza Lau, Lion Sandy Kan, Lion Crystal Loo and Lion Joseph Lo. The chairman of the visitors committee, Lion Maggie Liew (L/C of Kulai) was present to oversee the visit and also provided drinks to the Leos.
