Educational subsidies for Poor Students

Under our Lions Educational Fund, a sum of RM 3,486.90 were given to 24 poor students of SJK(T) Ulu Tiram during a simple ceremony at the school on 14th February 2006, which happened to be a Valentine's Day. The headmaster Mr. Srinivasan witnessed the handing over of a cheque by OC Lion Michael Tan.
Another sum of RM 647.80 was presented to 8 poor students of SK Desa Cermerlang. The headmistress, Puan Kalsom witnessed the handing over by OC Lion Michael Tan. Some Lions members were also present.
