To help save our fragile earth & environment, the Lions Clubs in Region 8
(Johor Bahru) including our club, participated in a tree planting exercise at a
mangrove swarm at Taman Negara, Tanjung Piai, Johor. This is in conjunction with
the Lions 'World Lions Service Day'. The project was held on 21st October, 2007
together with Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Johor dan Taman Negara Johor Bahru. Our
club organizing chairman was PCC Lion Albert Tan.
